In recent years, there has been a rapid increase interest in ultrasound technologies that can be widely used in various industries. However, even well-known technologies are implemented in practice in due volume due to the low efficiency of existing technological solutions of industrial devices (efficiency less than 40%, weight, overall dimensions, energy consumption does not meet modern requirements). In addition, the complexity of optimizing the impact on objects and the need for manual adjustment, as well as the lack of multi-functional industrial devices, affect.

The innovative technology of ultrasonic cavitation treatment of liquid and liquid-dispersed media and the industrial equipment that implements it, developed in our company, allows us to avoid the above problems.

The use of the technology provides for the processing of liquid and liquid-dispersed media for the following purposes:

• Dispersion (including up to specified nano-sized particles).
• Extraction. The use of the technology makes it possible to increase the rate of the extraction process (by tens and hundreds of times), to increase the yield of extracted substances, to ensure the extraction of substances inaccessible by other methods, to carry out extraction at room temperature, to abandon the use of traditional organic toxic extracting agents (alcohols, ethers, and others). The ultrasonic method of extraction (especially of biologically active substances) is economically profitable in industry and has no alternative in home production, and the resulting preparations meet the requirements of the technical regulations.
• Emulsification (including the formation of nano-emulsions) and homogenization. The need for emulsions is great. The immiscibility barrier can be overcome due to cavitation processes in an ultrasonic field and the finest emulsions with minimum particle sizes are obtained. Emulsions with these particle sizes are stable and stable.
• Dissolution. The use of technology helps to accelerate the dissolution processes, to reduce the proportion of undissolved sediment. In most cases, ultrasonic dissolution proceeds without the use of special solvents.
• Intensification of physical and chemical processes (to speed up the reaction).
• Purification and clarification of liquid multi component media. Various sorbents, in particular natural, are successfully used to clarify and clean various objects. Cleaning by means of ultrasonic cavitation in the presence of a small amount of sorbent suspension is greatly accelerated. This is due to the fact that the specific surface area and the degree of dispersion of the sorbent particles grow during sonication. In the case of clarification of liquids by ultrasonic cavitation, the dosage of the sorbent suspension can be reduced several times.
• Degassing. Ultrasonic vibrations provide a faster and deeper, in comparison with other methods, lowering the concentration of gas dissolved in a liquid.
